"Suisse made" is always in high demand at INTERBOOT as well
As a direct bordering country of Lake Constance, Switzerland traditionally plays a major role at INTERBOOT. All Swiss exhibition offerings are bundled under the title “Suisse@INTERBOOT”. However, this claim is also used to initiate special activities for Swiss visitors. After all, they make up between 20% and 25% of all visitors to the trade fair.
Quite a few water sports enthusiasts also regard Friedrichshafen as the northernmost port in Switzerland.

History of Suisse@INTERBOOT
IIn 1962, traditional Swiss companies such as Brunnert-Grimm AG and Boesch Motorboote AG were instrumental in launching INTERBOOT, acting as midwives at the time and remaining closely associated with the trade fair to this day.
From the very beginning, not only because of their geographical proximity, but above all because of their shared nautical spirit, mutual respect, and common passion for water sports, a close partnership was established that has been running very harmoniously and successfully for more than six decades. That's good, that's nice—and actually not normal!
As a rule, INTERBOOT hosts more than 10% of exhibitors and 20% of visitors from the neighboring country on its grounds and in its INTERBOOT harbor area during the show.
This makes Switzerland by far the strongest foreign nation.
In the early decades at the former exhibition grounds on Lake Constance, it was the “Pavillon Suisse” where the Swiss flags were displayed in concentrated form, but for about 20 years now it has been the logo “SUISSE@INTERBBOOT” logo has been used for around 20 years, promising a strong presence for a proud nautical nation at “its” water sports exhibition in the border triangle. Guests are lovingly looked after and cared for here by the SBV crew and partners.
