“Gangerl” visits INTERBOOT
Bavarian dropout legend Wolfgang “Gangerl” Clemens has been sailing the world's oceans for over 40 years and regularly captivates audiences at INTERBOOT with his stories.
His movie “Ausgsting” will be released on August 28, 2025, in which filmmaker Julian Wittmann accompanied him for three months. The film raises the big question: Is dropping out the key to happiness and freedom? Just a few weeks later, you can experience Gangerl and parts of the film crew :
Wednesday, September 24,
15:30 p.m.: Lecture at the Travel & Sailing Center
6:00 p.m.: Major evening lecture in Hall A2.
Please note: Admission is included in the trade fair ticket, but there are only a limited number of seats available. The free trade fair express train will depart for Friedrichshafen at 7:00 p.m. on this day, while the lecture will last approximately 90 minutes.
Ben Beholz & Niels Willems
Ben Beholz is a professional kitesurfer and content creator. Driven by his passion for water sports, he runs the largest YouTube and social media channels in his field and will be back at INTERBOOT 2025. The Radolfzell native brings plenty of action to the exhibition lake. In various demonstrations and workshops, he will show what is important in pump foiling, for example. You shouldn't miss it. In addition, four-time European freestyle jet ski champion Niels Willems will be there. With his spectacular show on the exhibition lake, he will make high waves and perform high somersaults on his jet ski.
The INTERBOOT Marina
An important part of the event is the free INTERBOOT Marina. No other water sports fair can offer this combination of exhibition in the exhibition halls and active testing.
The special exhibition – My first boat
The special exhibition “MY FIRST BOAT” provides you with all the information you need to get started as a motorboat skipper. Covering more than 1,000 m², you will not only see over 20 motorboats in the price range up to €35,000, but you will also receive all the information that is important to you.
Skimboarding -by Skimhomies
This year, visitors can once again try their hand at skimboarding in a special shallow water pool. Skimboarding involves gliding across a thin film of water on a board. Every day, skimboarding pros demonstrate their skills on the “flat disc.” The hall also offers a wide range of accessories, clothing, water skis, and wakeboards for purchase.
