TAKACAT catamaran inflatable boats are ideal for rescue water operations.

The Takacat LX models are available as "heavy-duty" versions for water rescue and other operations under difficult conditions. An ideal rapid intervention boat (SEB) for the fire brigade, water rescue and police. Due to their low immersion depth, TAKACAT catamaran inflatable boats are ideal for shallow water operations. The open bow makes it much easier to transfer people into the boat. The same applies to rescue divers and lifeguards. The open transom guarantees that the Takacats never fill up. Any water that is taken over flows straight back out of the boat. Due to the catamaran construction, the Takacat can also be used for ice rescue in winter, the same applies to the heavy-duty high-pressure floor. Optionally, a GRP floor can be used instead of the high-pressure floor.

The Remigo NEO electric outboard motor weighs just 13 kg and is equipped with a quiet, brushless 1500-watt direct drive (equivalent to 4 hp). It has an unusually slim, hydrodynamic design and is suitable as an electric outboard motor, boat motor, auxiliary motor, and calm water propulsion system for boats up to 1.5 tons. In “Boost Mode,” the RemigoOne NEO can deliver 1500 watts of power for 1 minute. “Boost Mode” can be repeated until the battery capacity reaches 40%. In continuous operation, the RemigoOne NEO delivers a maximum of 1000 watts. In combination with the option of optimally adjusting the shaft length to the transom height, highly energy-efficient propulsion can be achieved, which is optimally supported by the catamaran design of the Takacats, with up to 50% less energy consumption.

The open bow provides a functional landing platform for swimming, snorkelling, diving, and stepping on and off at the beach or ramp. Our unique removable Tube Transom®, offers amazing portability, no power loss and allows any water in the boat to simply flow out the back, a great advantage when being towed or being used in rough or wet conditions. The two pontons are made of 1.2 mm TPU material. TPU does not contain any plasticizers, which means that the welded seams are permanently elastic and cannot become brittle.
